Flyer Design & Print - Love Candy Cakes

The lovely Candy from Love Candy Cakes contacted me last week, as she wanted a helping hand to promote her newly opened ‘Cake Boutique’  and as always I was only too happy to help!  We quickly produced some DL Flyers, on one side we created an offer voucher and on the reverse side a showcase of all the delicious treats and goodies that Candy and The Cake Boutique has to offer… cookies, brownies, blondies, Victoria sponges, flapjack, cupcakes are just a few off the top of my head… mmmmm : )

Flyers are an important part of the marketing mix.  They allow any business, big or small, to get noticed by the right customers at a cost effective price – CLICK HERE to visit the Print Shop for prices.

Try adding a voucher, discount offer or a code to your flyers – that way you can measure how successful your marketing has been as well as increasing sales for your business  : )

Flyer Design & Print – Venue

I was enjoying a serene Tuesday morning when an email popped up on screen titled “LYNSEY, HELP!” … so I took a deep breath and read on  “…just booked into a massive wedding fayre and realised I have NO flyers…… LYNSEY HELP!”

This was a plea from the lovely Francesca at Venue, how could I not help this damsel in distress?  Anyway to cut a long story short, I designed Francesca’s new flyers and met her tight deadline and we all lived happily ever after : )

Venue is a small family run business specialising in all aspects of wedding venue styling.  Venue can provide you with Chair Covers, Sparkle Backdrops, Table Decorations and centrepieces to compliment the theme or look of your wedding.  With Valentine’s Day just around the corner,  some lucky couples may be needing Francesca’s services very soon.  Girls, still waiting for him to pop the question?  Don’t forget it’s a leap year ; )

Invitation Design & Print – The White Room

I’ve been working with Katherine at The White Room for a few years now and so pleased to be part of her 10th Anniversary celebrations!  The big day isn’t here quite yet but I’ve had the very important job of designing and printing the invitations & marketing materials.

Katherine always knows exactly what she wants and is a true pleasure to work with.  After a quick catch up over a coffee we decided on an ultra classy black and white theme for the marketing – perfect for her ‘dress to impress’ red carpet event (she really knows how to throw a party!)

I’ve designed a range of marketing materials including: promotional flyers, A1 posters, Invitations and not forgetting the special offer stickers – as I know there’s going to be some serious discounts on the night.

The White Room is an award wining beauty salon based in Sutton in Ashfield.  To celebrate their 10th year in business they will be lavishing ticket holders with Champagne & canapes, goody bags, free makeovers plus other exciting offers & prizes.  For further information or for tickets contact Katherine on Telephone : 01623 555517

I’d like to congratulate The White Room and wish them every success with their celebration – now I just need to find a posh frock!

Shake Up Sheffield - Leaflets & Branding

{ Flyer Design - Front }

We've had some fun at Bimbo Design working on the branding for Shake UP!   James came to us a couple of weeks ago,  full of enthusiasm about his new venture and we were only too happy to help make his ideas a reality.  James knew exactly the path that he wanted to take with his branding and this allowed us to to work quickly and keep design costs to a minimum - which when you are starting a new venture is crucial!

{ Flyer Design - Reverse }

We've also designed and printed flyers for Shake UP ready for the launch, which is happening next Saturday (13.8.11).  We included a 'FREE Shake' voucher to entice customers to come and try before they buy - so we know James is going to be busy next weekend!

Shake UP! Sheffield introduce the i.Fit. The very latest in vibration plate technology and just 10 minutes of use per day can have the same effect as one hour's resistance training in the gym... which is perfect if you lead hectic and busy lives like we do at Bimbo HQ!

To Find out more about Shake UP! Sheffield visit the website

I'd like to wish James and the Shake UP! team a fantastic launch a look forward to my free shake ; )

History in the making!

Bimbo Design were thrilled to be part of the official opening of the newly refurbished Heritage Centre in Barlborough, Chesterfield.  The centre re-opened it's doors to the public on 21st May, and with over 1,000 years of local history it left the many visitors intrigued and fascinated.

We designed and printed pull up banners, display boards, promotional flyers and even picture postcards - our favourite is one of The Barlborough Bear, who lives just outside...!

I'd like to wish Tony and Linda every success with their new look Heritage Centre, for more information contact  Barlborough Resource Centre on 01246 810100.

Cupcake Parties at April Delights

There is nothing I love more than cake, however designing cake flyers is incredibly difficult - try thinking about fonts and colours when you have so many delicious treats on screen... aargh!

However,  I have struggled through and created these lovely vintage inspired flyers to promote Adele's cupcake parties.

What a great birthday party idea for children,  a party that will keep them completely entertained.  Letting creativity run wild as they decorate their own cupcakes using a mix of buttercream, sugarpaste, glitter and luster dusts...  Oh to be 6 again!

You shall go to the ball... or Prom!

Firstly may I wish everyone Happy New Year!  It was the first day back at the studio for Bimbo Design and Paul at Spirits High Entertainments was quick off the mark.  We've already designed him these dazzling flyers ready for his prom show - THIS WEEKEND!  That's right, designed and printed in a couple of days.  I wouldn't normally encourage last minute marketing, but this was an opportunity Paul simply couldn't miss, and I was more than happy to help.

Spirits High Entertainment offer a whole host of services from professional DJing, Starlit Dancefloors, Venue Uplighting and even Ice Sculptures...  Bimbo Design will be using Paul next time we throw another 'Pink Bimbo Bash'.

Currently Paul has a special offer for any potential PROM customers : 20% OFF the starlight dancefloors when booked with a disco package!  Click here to visit his website

Invitations - The White Room

Invitation Design - Front

Invitation Design - Reverse

Firstly, I am going to make an apology for my complete lack of Blog posts, it's been over a month since my last update! ... I just don't know where this year has gone.

Bimbo Design are helping Katherine at The White Room promote her Christmas Shopping Night.  These are the lovely invitations that I have designed but there is a lot more to come.  The event has been hugely successful in the past - but it still needs to be advertised, so we can guarantee 'bums on seats'.  I have also produced A1 posters, Flyers and a Social Media Campaign on Facebook to guarantee maximum exposure for this even without damaging Katherines pocket : )

April Delights... delicious new branding

Bimbo Design were faced with a little task from Adele at April Flowers - she wanted to divert from her current business 'April Flowers' to concentrate on cakes!  What a pickle...  not only were we looking at a re-brand but also a new company name.

Adele wanted to keep the 'April' part of the company name as it was very dear to her... and before she had time to worry about it we had created her the most perfect brand identity... April Delights.

Working with Adele has been great, she left us to do what we do best - and the results are simply delicious.  April Delights now have strong company branding and,  are you ready...  Business Cards, Letterheads, Flyers, Vehicle Graphics, Website, Facebook & Twitter pages and last but not least a shiny new blog! ... but, it doesn't stop there, we are now working on shop signage, an email campaign and gift vouchers.

I think that's quite enough creativity for now! - Check back soon to see the finished results.
